I'm completely in love with the damask pattern. I have a homemade damask painting in my living room, even my wedding cake had damask. What can I say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.I saw this skirt in its full glory of plethory gold goodness and I knew I had to make that baby mine. Even though it was about 100 degrees I had to wear my beautiful goldilocks so I sacrificed my sanity for fashion. Beauty is pain my friends. Beauty is pain.
Beautiful sweater (:
ReplyDeleteOh dear... I have this old damask curtain with blue-green shades and golden tones that I've been thinking of making into a shawl. It's a little heavy, but what the heck. It's gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the damask patten myself. I have it all over my house and on my webiste. What a lovely sweater, but even cuter is the skirt!

ReplyDeleteGreat, great sweater! Even better that it's from TJ MAXX!
ReplyDeleteYou're married?!? You look so young! :) Totally meant to be a compliment - but I sometimes get ID'd for silly things like lottery so I can see how it is annoying!

ReplyDeleteI went through a severe obsession with damask in the beginning of '09, and I even wanted to decorate my room with it, but I just couldn't find much with the pattern. It didn't take long, now I feel like it's everywhere! I'm glad to know I wasn't alone in my obsession :)
