Deck Your Walls: Free Wall Art

I've been working on finding art that fits a very calm earthy vibe in my house and I always have this problem where I visualize exactly what I want to find and then lo and behold it doesn't exist. So I took a whack at watercoloring some marbelized blues and this is what came of it. I have about a million more in my head but hey oh! one down in my dream picture wall. Here's a free printable just in case you've been looking for something similar!  The key to making it look super $$spensive$$$ is a nice framing mat and having it printed on a really thick matte paper. Happy decorating!

Baby Bumpdate| Week 26

How Far Along? 26 weeks Weight Gain? About 20 lbs Maternity Clothes?YES! They are my lifeblood. I can still wear lots of no maternity tops but the pants are a must Sleep? Sleep is starting to get uncomfortable, and I remember last time around this happening about the same time as well, so yesterday I invested in a Snoogle and it's already pretty much the best thing that's ever happened to me. Best moment this week?  Whenever people ask Jocelyn if mommy is having a baby she gets a big grin on her face and says, "Baby sister" and then points at herself and says "Big sister". I still have no idea if she really knows what that means but it is just about the sweetest thing ever to hear her say Weird pregnancy moment?  I ate maybe 10 Hot Cheetos and you would've thought I was about to die. There were lots of mooing type sounds and I am not proud of it.  Movement? This little babe knows how to party. Is it terrible that every time she's rolling around I think about what it would be like to have her there with me and Joc at that moment and then think....easier in than out for right now.  I know I know, but all of the juggling and feeling like you won't have enough of you to go around really scares me now that I sort of know what I'm getting into. Food Cravings:Give me all the sweets!!! Ugh I was doing so well and now I just want cookies for breakfast and ice cream for lunch and...you get the gist. CHOCOLATE, LAS OF CHOCOLATE!!!Gender? It's a girl!!! I wanted to do some type of really cool gender announcement and maybe I figured one out by the time this goes up but guh, gender announcements are not my cup of tea. It's a whole lotta cheese and effort and keeping it to ourselves has felt really good. What I'm looking forward to? Whenever we have really sweet family moments with Joc I just think about how much sweeter they will be as our family grows. The idea of two sisters that are bff's and just the thought of watching them grow together has me all sorts of excited. I know, rose colored glasses much:)

Sisters Sisters

That's right. There will be two little sisters trompin' around the house come August. It's a girl! I have to say that I think both Matt and I were hoping it was a girl and so we felt like we had to find out the babies gender. There was a split second where I thought about not finding out but that lasted well...for a split second. I'm one of four sisters and a brother and I have to tell you I always felt like my siblings were perfect, I know I know everyone thinks that about their own family. But we had this big protector older brother that always watched out for us and then four insane girls. Oh the never ending barbie plots, playing pretty princess with the door closed in the bathroom because we couldn't stop giggling (that game BETTER still be around) and never ending hair and makeup sessions. There is just something special and so sweet about the sister bond.

Shame Shame Tsk Tsk

dress: Asos          shoes: Old Navy          hat: BP Nordstrom

Today on the way to church Matt found an unopened Snickers bar sitting on the ground in a parking lot and we looked at each other like, "Defining moment. Are we the kind of people that eat unwrapped things off the ground?" I know, this shouldn't be a dilemma one has! We should be normal people that eat food off of plates always and forever. We should brush our teeth twice a day and eat our vitamins. This revelation that I could be tempted by food on the ground shook me to my core people. We stopped for a second, glanced down at the ground and then back at each other and kept walking. And then all nonchalantly as we stepped into the church building Matt asks, "Should I check and see if that Snickers is edible?" He knew my internal struggle guys. And that is why he is the love of my life and the man that came triumphantly running back from the parking lot waving the Snickers bar like the dang Olympic torch. Fyi, post church Snickers are an amazing idea...as long as you tell NO ONE that you act like a nasty 12 year old child.
