So the other day. I was at Target, per usual, I mean when am I not at Target? And I was perusing through the sale racks, there were a few promising finds, and of course the ultimate painful question was to try them on or to not try them on. Because the thing is, that if a girl can avoid the fitting room, SHE WILL. Nobody wants to stand in front of mirrors that make your hips explode, and nobody wants to clean up after their total monstrosity of clothes that will sure to be left afterwards, and EVERYONE hates those stupid plastic clothing hanger bands that flop out of every blouse when you try them on. So, today, I couldn't avoid the fitting room. So I go to the fitting room and I say "29??? Ooops is that too many??" and the lady says, "Oh no worries Sarah, I know you'll bring them all back!"
....K what?
I'm such a Target regular that the fitting room lady knows my name??
And cerebral high five because she thinks I'm not a thief! That's a plus!
You guys this is my first time in Target regular territory. I mean should I stop by with a plate of Christmas goodies next time?
Do I invite her to my Christmas party? And what would she want for Christmas? Are we now the kind of friends that get each other hand lotion, or are we close enough for clothes shopping territory? And would it be super weird if I bought her present at Target? Also, what's her name?
That's really funny that you go there so much they know your name! I've never had that happen at a store, but at the coffee shop where I study they'd see me and start making my drink
ReplyDeleteThese floral pants are so amazing, love the print, perfect with the denim top and knit sweater

Haha that is so funny. My friend works at the Target in Orem. I swear they have better stuff than the ones up here in SLC. Those pants are so cute! They have some really great chambray tops right now too (you can never have too many, right?)

oh my god thats awesome. and those pants are to die for :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I go to Target I try to stay out of the clothes/ shoes/ accesories department at all costs or else the box of cereal I came in for instantly, without fail, turns into $100 shopping spree. Oh and the makeup aisle.UGH!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, our pants are amazing! Happy Friday to you!

I LOVE target! I have the same problem when I go there.....so many good things. I think you would make that lady's day if you brought cookies :)
ReplyDeleteGo w/ ur gut! A plate of cookies would be nice for her!I <3 Target too!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, girl, I know exactly what you mean. The girl who works at the bargain basement at my local thrift store knows who I am and talks to me. I go to school two hours away, so I'm not home THAT much. I always feel like I should ask her to hang out, because I see her a lot, but then I realize I don't know her name. But, she doesn't judge me for buying things with sequins on them, so who knows?
ReplyDeleteCookies sounds like a great plan! I mean, befriending the dressing room lady can only be a positive thing!

ReplyDeletethat is amazing, i have gone into target before with my younger sister and come up to us, said our names and asked us where our mom is. People dont only recognize us at target, but also at A. C.Moore.
ReplyDeleteAhahaha!! This made me laugh. Hence the beginning of this comment. :P Anywho, I love your pants! Printed pants and leggings are my favorite.

I hate trying on stuff too. You should ask her what her name is and totally become besties for life.:)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was that cool- my Costco greeter knows my name and my kid's names...I think it says something about each of us! Though I spend too much time in Target too. The other thing I love about this post is you said you found a "few promising things" and tried on 29! haha

ReplyDeleteBeside Disneyland, Target is the happiest place on earth. I would definitely spend all of my money there if I could afford it... Also, your outfit is perfect, and I want a changing-rooms friend. The end.
