We found the perfect tree. Tied the perfect tree to the car roof. Realized that when we tied the perfect tree to the car roof that we also tied all of the car doors closed. Climbed through our car windows like ninjas and took the perfect tree home. Realized we had absolutely no lights for the perfect tree. Got lights for the perfect tree. Realized we had no stand for the perfect tree. Got a stand for the perfect tree, and then decorated the crap out of it.We of course took part in the Morales family tradition, every year after decorating our Christmas tree my mom would make homemade banana bread and hot chocolate and we'd sit around the tree sipping our hot cocoa and hoarding as much banana bread as possible. This was our first year doing the tradition with just our little family, and it has officially been adopted as a McCammon Christmas tradition! Hooray for traditions and for miraculously getting that tree home in one piece!

Wow, I couldn't fit through a window right now so I am both impressed with the tree and your flexibility.

Your tree is so adorable! Have fun with your Christmas dates; that sounds so wonderful right now as I'm cramming for finals - especially the sweater/photobooth date. Of course, a root canal would sound wonderful right now. :P
ReplyDeleteHowever, the image of you guys climbing in the windows, ninja style is quite amusing. Made my night of studying 10X better.
