I have....a few....or so quirks to my personality. Like when I try to go to sleep at night it helps make me sleepy when I rub my head all over Matts shoulders like a cat, or when I'm asked a question and I don't know the answer I just say, "Who knows these days?!" but one of the more stranger quirks is that I have a completely uncontrollable amount of curiosity and I feel the need to understand every weirdo ever born. Like I'm talking I study serial killers for fun because I'm so intrigued by how someone could be so insane!!! I even have a complete season of serial killer dvd's that I whip out yearly to brush up on my serial killer knowledge. All of my friends know about my strange obsession with weirdo's, and those sweet sweet humans act like it's totally not weird at all, bless their little normal hearts!!! So the other day I'm talking to a friend and he says," Hey I saw this thing on the news the other day and totally thought you would love it! So they found this person dead in the water tank of a hotel....AND GET THIS!! The people staying at the hotel were drinking from the same water that the dead person was in for two week!" You guys, please tell me you have heard about this, I mean. WOAH.
There's no point to telling you guys this.
I just thought it was crazy that people were drinking and showering in dead person juices for a week and didn't notice anything.
My favorite hotel guest comment of all you ask? "Oh that’s why I have Mummy breath, thank God I thought I had cancer but I was just brushing with corpse juice.”
You're welcome.The end.
It’s so good to hear I’m not alone in my infatuation with serial killers. I’m currently reading Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit, it’s a book about John Douglas who is a criminal profiler. Check it out. ;)
ReplyDelete....and gross, just googled that story. Hadn't heard about it.
That is horrible! hahaha but you are so awesome :) Have a great Monday!

It could be said that your zealousness for serial killers is a little... weird... but I'm just going to commend you for OWNING it. If I was the type of person to say "You go, girl!" I would interject one now.
ReplyDeleteEven though this isn't the same thing at all, you might think it's interesting. A relative of mine (totally normal and nice guy) had a used car dealership which he used to steal millions of dollars from people. Six years ago they found his van on the side of the road - he'd faked his own death, they didn't find a body and still haven't found him. Some people say he was involved with the mob, some say he ran off with his secretary, some think he might be living in the jungle of South America (he grew up there). If you feel like watching a YouTube video and maybe starting a new obsession with people who fake their own death and are wanted in 50 states, check this out: Darrel Kempf

One of the most interesting classes I took in college was a sociology class on murder. I suggest reading the book The Riverman, it's about profiling serial killers.

Hahaha, I did the SAME thing to my friends when I read that story. So sick and disgusting, but I felt compelled to tell them immediately (which just-so-happened) to be right before lunch.
ReplyDeleteLove the edgy look!

I love you. And that outfit is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I used to live across the street from that hotel. It was actually renovated into lofts a few years back. It was the craziest thing ever!!! We had considered moving into that building too.
ReplyDeleteI love this vest! And the necklace! I've been searching thrift stores for a vest like this!
