Sir Matt and I are headed on a road trip to California this week! We're starting in San Diego and then making our way up the coast to Orange County. We'd love to know about any must see stops and delicious joints from all of you!!!
*P.S. I'll be on a little blog hiatus while I'm vacationing but I'll be back mid next week! Don't do anything I wouldn't do while I'm away:)
san diego is my favorite place ever.

Um, I LIVE IN THE OC!!! Please let's meet!!!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteFidel's in Solana Beach/Del Mar area... It's just north of San Diego by the racetrack. AMAZING Mexican food (and I'm a socal born and raised Mexican food snob). Seriously, it's heaven. And they melt cheese over everything... Even the five chips they serve on every single plate.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is that I had a brief visit to Manhattan Beach (a little further north) and it's AWESOME.
ReplyDeletecatalina island, balboa island, and la jolla are some of my favorite places up that way! have so much fun!
ReplyDelete@Amber T I'm obsessed with Mexican food! Ill try it and report back!!!
ReplyDelete@Cara Howard ooh where at!!!
ReplyDeleteim from SD ... I live in north county but you should for sure drive the 101 when you head up to Orange County. Brian Malarkey has a whole bunch of restaurants in SD (if you are a foodie) and every single one is great ... if you like food you should for sure try one out ... I really like Searsucker, which is downtown and there is a new one in La Jolla called Herringbone which is beautiful too. If you do go to La Jolla I would say to go to Georges on the cove for a drink or a bit to eat, great view right on the cove! Gaslamp is really fun to cruise around as is Balboa Park. PB and Mission Beach are both really great beach areas to walk around too. Of course there is the zoo but I perfer Sea
ReplyDeleteWorld ... let me know if you have any questions and I would be super happy to help you out!!
