Yes, I am that mom. The one that wants to match with her daughter. Here's the thing, the more and more that I watch her grow I realize that this just isn't going to be an option soon. My Jocie is the sassiest of sassy girls. Everything I say to her, even if it's offering some seriously coveted Jello is given a NOOOO WAYYYYYY! It's the cutest, and also the worst. Yep that pretty much sums up being a parent. Talk about a friggin' emotional rollercoaster.

I see so much of her in me, sure she looks like her daddy but that little girl is fiery and ornery and stubborn just like her mom. I just get her...I mean that doesn't mean that the stuff she does doesn't completely drive me bonkers, but boy do I get her. So yes matchy matchy for as long as she'll allow BECAUSE I'M YOUR MOM AND I SAID SO DANGIT!!

  1. Well our girls sound identical then. My daughter is 8 and there is no way she would match her mom. She loves me. But not enough to dress like me. Even when she was your daughter's age, do you think I could put her hair in pigtails? No. Cute dresses? No. She would not comply with anything that I wanted her to wear. She has two older brothers and all I wanted was to dress up my baby girl. But no. And I love her for that.
