It was the last day of summer this week and usually I'm all finished up with summer and ready for fall but man, what is it about this year that has me clinging to every.single.minute. I think some of it has to do with the fact that Jocelyn was so new this time last year and so I really didn't have time to be out and soak up the summer, part of me feels like I missed a half a year of my life just trying to figure out the whole mom thing last year. But this year, man, summer was full of splash pads and scraped knees and frozen Gogurts and hoses. I'm getting all misty eyed just thinking about it. So my solution is dressing like it's summer until mid November. What can I say, I have only the most mature of coping skills.
